Beginner Level Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga with Karen [New York City]

Prenatal Yoga focuses on alleivating the pains of pregnancy and preparing the mind and body for labor and birth. This is a gentle yoga class suitable for beginners and those who have never practiced yoga before. Our classes are about 15 minutes discussion of pregnancy and birth, 45 minutes of yoga practice and 10 minutes of breathing and relaxation practice.

What to Bring to Class
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in, most people wear t-shirts and shorts, sweats or leggings. Remove shoes and socks for class.
Bring a yoga mat and yoga blanket as we will spend a a great deal of time on the floor.

Yoga For Women
Many women are living and working in a body with which they rarely connect. This class will focus on women's wellness, offering women a safe and supportive environment to discover themselves. Learn to take time to be still, breathe and move your body with awareness of it's beauty, it's flow of energies, and it's capabilities for self-healing, you will be amazed at the potential for well-being.
